Hi. I wanted to know if the Cyber Monday deals affect the Bundles. I have been using D&D Beyond for a while but I have never actually bought any books and was wondering if it was worth buying the Sourcebook or Player bundle during the Cyber Monday sale when all the books get a 30% off or if buying the books separately is more cost-efficient. I don't have a lot of disposable income so waiting for the sales is my go-to.
I also was wondering if the prices of the bundles vary. Since, when Nov. 19 arrives 2 more sourcebooks are going to be added to the marketplace.
If you do not care about the pre-order perks, then wait until Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday to see if the bundle gets discounted then. If not Thanksgiving, then wait until Christmas. Buying the bundle is the cheapest way to get everything. I recommend waiting until one of those two holidays, since they usually have a bundle discount during those times.
If you do care about the pre-order perks, then I recommend waiting for a sale to happen between now and release, and then pre-order just those books during the sale. I recommend waiting for a sale before you pre-order since you can always pre-order at the last minute (not literal last minute, but maybe a day or two before release). And then once the holiday bundle sale comes around, purchase the rest of the bundle then.
You can't buy the bundle for free. The bundle, unless there's a sale on bundles, will always cost the full value of all included books. So if you buy all the books when they're on sale for 25% off, then the bundle will cost you that remaining 25%. The bundles are only worth buying if you're planning on sticking around and using DDB long enough for the discount that the bundles give you to earn back what you paid for buying the bundle instead of the individual books. And as the bundle gets bigger, that takes longer and longer to do, to the point that honestly I consider it unfeasible.

That seems dumb, but I stand corrected.

The sales apply to books, but those count towards the bundles. > edit: this is incorrect; ignore!

On xxx’s comment - From what I remember, thanksgiving is the best deal- if you wait until Xmas, you won’t be happy.
