How do i join an existing campaign?

pls help im new here

Hello. In order to join a campaign, you need a character. I am going to assume you have one. Then, you need to enter a campaign join code, which I will provide you. However, my poorly designed campaign is more for sharing content rather than a fully-fleshed campiagn.

How about if you joined on the wrong toon? 

I left the campaign and now when I go back in I don't see the choose your characters like on your sample link, I only see the buttons at the bottom to create new characters.
