Stat-wise I would say the Greatsword. Giant scissors are going to require two hands to wield effectively, and the Greatsword does slashing damage, which I think is the most appropriate kind for this weapon. Alternatively, glaives, cleavers, sickles and scythes might work also. RP-wise, at a stretch you could probably fashion two blades of that kind into makeshift scissors, before perhaps commissioning a smith to make you a proper pair (at a greater cost, naturally, as the work will be... unusual.)

Zero is the most important number in D&D: Session Zero sets the boundaries and the tone; Rule Zero dictates the Dungeon Master (DM) is the final arbiter; and Zero D&D is better than Bad D&D.

Well that entirely depends on how "giant" they are.
Even a short sword would classify as giant compared to a normal pair of scissors - although maybe not "giant" but just "large" if comparing to a pair of garden shears.
I am a player and want my character to wield giant scissors but my dm doesnt allow homebrew, what weapon should i reflavor?

If this is Kill La Kill inspired, greatsword is definitely the way to go.
