My wizard casts a spell which creates a missile doing 4d6 piercing damage and 4d6 psychic damage (homebrew spell). Is the Lycan immune to any of the damage from this attack?

A standard werewolf has immunity to "bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks that aren’t silvered". The psychic damage goes through because it's not on that list at all, the piercing damage goes through because a spell is not nonmagical.
Are you talking about attacking an Order of the Lycan Bloodnhunter? I guess you're talking about the Resilient Hide feature, specifically, "You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks not made with silver weapons." Your spell sounds like a magical attack to me so you should be all set. However, you're also talking about homebrew. If it's DMs homebrew, their rules but you can discuss, ask questions. If it's your homebrew or a homebrew from somewhere else, DM has a lot of latitude in such circumstances to scale homebrew to what they feel is balanced for their games.
Basically you're attacking homebrew with homebrew (Bloodhunter is basically glorified homebrew on DDB) so sure folks on the board can tell you what it sounds like from a perspective far removed from your game, but it can't really be arbitrated here.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
I was under the impression that for any spell that does damage, the damage is magical. So in the above example, the spell would bypass the defense.
