Dungeons & Dragons Rules Expansion Gift Set (D&D Books)-Tasha's Cauldron of Everything + Xanathar's Guide to Everything + Monsters of the Multiverse + DM Screen
I just noticed that this bundle set, to be released on Jan 25, 2022 (after the holidays - would loved to have bought this for myself with Christmas bonus) will include Mordenkainen Presents "Monsters of the Multiverse" - NOTE: the price is pretty high for a set of 3 books and DM screen ($187 with taxes, delivery cost not specified) if you already own those other 2 books, and 10+ other DM screens... .
Does anyone know when that particular book, Monsters of the Multiverse, will be released independently?
Specific date isn't clear yet, but maybe wait for Tuesday for official word. When they discussed it at Celebration did say it would be available individually after the boxed set. Apparently Amazon's already leaked a March 2022 date for a new D&D book title to be revealed this Tuesday. My guess is it's going to be MMM, since that gives WotC two months to milk the "must have first" folks for the boxed set.
This source thinks it'll be a totally different book being announced, some folks thinking it'll be one of the settings, but I think honestly with WotC Hasbro messing up holiday and present book distribution even though they saw shipping problems in the pipeline and were proactively trying to mitigate it, I'm thinking the next think to show up after the boxed set is MMM, and we'll see the settings later in the spring.
Or say you want to learn about a new movie in the makings:
DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS • Feature film in partnership with Paramount Pictures is preparing to start principal photography in Ireland. • Engaged several writers to develop premium television projects designed as a foundation for a new robust brand universe, which is very bland, can be found here: Exhibit 99.1 Q4 2020 (hasbro.com) very boring "Strategic Growth Drivers for Investors Event" announcement... .
It's the internet of people that spice it up for the consumers.
Clarification: your comment, "Apparently Amazon's already leaked a March 2022 date...", Amazon doesn't press buttons for the seller, doesn't write sellers products - WotC decided to post that "leak".
Regarding setting - I believe if we knew the movie setting, then I could imagine the book pivoting accordingly to help viewers become excited to purchase box office tickets, else rent, else stream.
Let me look up the movie synopsis.... and maybe get an idea. One second.
Update. Found movie synopsis on U.S. Copyright Office, and as you can see - the movie setting in plane text :)

<Sigh> Hasbro's investor relations page isn't "the trades." I mean, if you were really all up on "the trades," or Hasbro/WotC's own PR as you claim to be, you'd been aware of the boxed set, and the existence of MMM, and the boxed set's release, date two weeks ago, as discussed in a number of threads on this very forum....
Someone as versed in "the trades" as you claim to be would be aware at this moment via a number of respective "trades"'s "beats" that engaging in your sorta plea to some unnamed Santa figure hawking the Internet to make the post January publication schedule appear on this side of Christmas possible for the sake of your Christmas bonus ... is moot given the fact that the D&D studio, when they announced the boxed set (at a public event that got some attention by "the trades") acknowledged their plan was to get the boxed sets in stores in time for the holiday, but couldn't make it happen due to the continued global shipping slowdown, publishing being one of the hardest hit sectors, so locked in a January release for the boxed set, and a subsequent release for MMM ... I mean it's the same phenomenon that your diligent scanning of "the trades" would have attributed the weeks delay in Fizban's and Strixhaven.
I'm not sure why you're bringing in citations from Hasbro, back in June, or the U.S. Copyright registration to talk about the movie both of which present information that's been well covered in "the trades," the more popular press, and this stuff you call "spiciness" which I think most folks would simply recognize as members of the broad D&D community who are generally regarded as having "good info." I'm especially not sure why you're doing it in a fashion that seems needlessly argumentative. It's concerning.
There's also the kinda weird non sequitur you're indulging in. I mean, yes, you've edited the subject of your thread to "announce" info on the movie (that's been discussed on this forum back when it was news), but your first post is still framed like someone who just heard of MMM, apparently unaware that it's been discussed in a number of places on this board, so I offered what I knew from this board, from seeing the D&D studio "unveil" the forthcoming boxed set and MMM (prior to the "dry" reporting), and you do this weird oneupmanship thing about proper dry sources or whatever because "you read the trades." So why were you asking in the first place to the community if you had all that info at hand? Like, why the strange revisionism by pretending you started the thread about two things but only addressed one in your OP? That's disconcerting.

As for MMM, yeah, I wasn't aware of its release date, hence the post.
The movie has never been discussed, I queried and searched forums, so naturally I was excited to find the synopsis as nobody has posted it online, not even IMDB, "Plot Undisclosed".

There's actually a fairly comprehensive thread here discussing the movie and what is known. It hasn't been active in a little while, mainly because there's been no new news
Oh! I typed in "movie" in search bar and nothing came up.
Interesting - nobody has synopsis or plot in that thread. Not comprehensive at all, to be honest - I read the whole 4 page thread, people just chatting what they would and wouldn't like, and how the other movies sucked...and purely guessing on what the setting will be.
The closes guess they came up with is, "The Movie will most likely take place in the Forgotten Realms Universe."
My research - it officially is, with plot/synopsis :)

Alright. Tuesday it is.
If they can push it out earlier, Christmas will come sooner (I usually just buy myself a bunch of junk every Christmas LOL).
Regarding announcements, I usually look at trade publications, not internet spice, like the video shown above.
All things Hasbro is announced, but those details are usually unveiled in very dry reporting.
For example, Dark Alliance: Wizards of the Coast Releases Dungeons & Dragons DARK ALLIANCE | Hasbro, Inc.
