Adding a modifier to a roll

Hi,

maybe a newbie question, how could I put a modifier on a roll? I find how to set advantage or disadvantage but not modifier

Are you talking about creating Homebrew?  Because there is a forum dedicated to Homebrew & House Rules that includes many useful guides.

If you mean something else, please clarify.

I mean to add a modifier on a roll (for example the +2 flaning on an attack roll)

 dndbeyond doesn't provide that ability, so it just needs to be added mentally after the dice is rolled.
