Can you move existing characters to other campaigns?

Sorry if this has been answered, but tried to find an answer but couldn't:

Can you move existing characters to other campaigns?

I have players that already build a charecter here before joining my campaign, can unassigned charecters be imported into a campaign?

Yes? its a super simple thing to really, you can choose any unassigned character when you hit the campaign joining link.

If their characters are in a campaign, they would need to leave the campaign w/ that character.

If their characters are not in a campaign, when using the campaign join link, they can join with the character.

Any unassigned character is claim-able in a campaign.
