Customizing Monsters - Digital Dice??

So I’m having a heck of a time figuring out how to add digital dice to my custom monsters. Here’s a screenshot of my monster:

Shortsword. Melee Weapon Attack: {"diceNotation":"1d20+4","rollType":"to hit","rollAction":"attack"} (1d6 + 4)

it does not display the digital dice option when I create my encounter though. What am I doing wrong?
