Even the Titan's Thunderous Bellow would not help the Tarrasque against Tiamat. Flight gives her the ability to stay in it's read quarter away from the bellow and continue to hit it from behind.
For the purposes of 5e combat there is no “rear quarter”; the Tarrasque can aim the Bellow anywhere along its border.
More versatile bosses that tend to not die instantly, it hink make for funner and better bosses. but mostly it boils down to how the DM does it, how well they can flavor it and make the players have fun. The creatures are just catalysts for good DM's

Yes, the Tarrasque would get bodied by so many creatures and player types, and I realised this a long time ago, and since i really wanted a large brute-beast, i made the tarrasque a true titan... something to REALLY be feared... so, I present to you
Cant it stun with its Thunderous bellow? And can't it reliably go before Tiamat? Surely that's enough to tip the edge?
also Tiamat will stay in the air if she gets stunned due to the hover ability but she can still be hit by it. I still think that Tiamat is stronger though.

Well we really don't know what Tiamat's stats are. There are two books, and both stats are different. And only one specifically says her statted form is an Aspect (or did it say avatar?).
I would wait until 5e 2024 comes up with new stats and go from there.
Even then, I wouldn't expect it to be more than an avatar or some similar concept; there's maybe one "yes, this is a real god" statblock in core 5e- Auril- and in that case there's a lot of notes that her running herself ragged with a continuous powerful working is the only reason the PCs can beat her forms, and that ultimately she'll still reform in a year unless all her worshippers are killed, which is easy for a DM to block.

During a recent session, the high level party got sent out to stop a Tarrasque. Instead of the normal dumb force of nature, the party ran into an intelligent spellcasting opponent. During the middle of things, it stopped and asked why we were attacking it! Our DM was really setting up an encounter where the party had to rolepaly out of things rather than fight.

If you're rolling a D20 and it's strength modifier is 10 does the "overwhelming strength" ability mean it always gets a 30

first of all dose the Tarrasque barf up the people that get converted into mind flayers, second of all yay! the Tarrasque isn't stupid anymore
Tiamat most definitely.
That is terrifying. Good job. 👍

Yes it will at least get a 30. Good luck beating it in an arm wrestle.
