I'm a DM for my regular group and have a Master subscription with the various content all bought. Players in my campaigns have access to everything they could want in creating their characters.
Now some of them are interested in taking the DM seat for a couple of sessions, and when they create a campaign on their free accounts, they are able to create characters from the Basic Rules only. Is there any way that I can grant them access as "Guest DMs" or perhaps sign on as a co-DM so they can have access to the Compendium? Maybe make it time-sensitive? I understand as I think about it how it could open up to terrible abuses, but I'd like my players to be able to have as much material available to them as I do when I run a game.
And of course, as soon as I post this, I figure out what I was doing wrong. I'll keep this here in case anyone else is looking:
I can share content with three campaigns TOTAL. I had assumed that only referred to the campaigns that I had personally created, but that's not so. I had two proper campaigns of my own running, and had set up a "dummy" campaign for my players to mess around with and make characters for fun. I deactivated the dummy campaign, and now I can allow a player to guest DM with access to the stuff I bought.
So the lesson today is to read carefully and mess about a bit more before taking to the forums.
As you were, then.
