I swear I remember back during 2nd ed. a spell called Wind Breath. Bout the only thing I can really remember about it is the caster breaths out a cone of wind that is 5 miles per hour/level of caster. Am I crazy of have I stumbled upon a D&D type mandela effect.
Never heard of it, and a cursory Google search didn't turn up anything. 5th edition has Gust of Wind, which is similar but it's a line instead of a cone, and it's not specifically described as being your breath, but you could certainly narrate it that way.

Uhm I'm going to have to assume it's some kind of Mandela effect, wind doesn't really do a lot of anything until it gets up into the 50 mph+ range (so lvl 10.. in 2e?). I can't ever really recall rules for speeds of winds doing anything (perhaps for boats?).
edit: other possibility, it could of been a spell an NPC had in a module as some kinda flavor mechanic?
