For the life of me I can't find the magic UI to choose Deft Explorer. Yes I own Tasha's and on the Home page I have Optional Class Features set to on (left, gray not red).
On the class page I see no UI to turn on optional class features. If I choose Ranger I get Natural Explorer and no way to not get it.

While usually right is on, normally red is off. Perhaos they should change it to a more intuitive green or just not greyed out or something.
