DDB is.more a tool that you use while playing on other media (in-person, Roll20, Zoom, whatever). You could use the Play-by-Post system if you wanted, that wouldn't require other media, but I'm not convinced that it's a good substitute. Still, YMMV.
Otherwise, you will need to play using other media. DDB is more fore hosting your character sheets etc.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Alright but is it still possible to play via mobile? I'm using the DND beyond app and was wondering what is the simplest/easiest/convenient tools i can use on my phone in that case?
Like if i have 1 app that is for communication and this app for the DND etc.
Also wondering if there is any thread/server/group that is specifically either for tutorial sessions or one offs?
To provide a little more clarity, D&D Beyond provides service(s) that supports playing D&D. The books and content for sale on the website are integrated into some tools, chiefly the character builder and character sheet, that facilitate, literally make easier, some key aspects of play (building a character and managing that character's sheet). They've also made some forays via its encounter builder and combat tracker to support the Dungeon Master's side of play. Tertiary to all that there's an online community on this board, Discord and some of the usual social media and streams hosted by D&D Beyond.
So D&D Beyond is not a "way" to play D&D so much as it is a "tool" to help you play D&D, however you play it.
If you poke around this board and the site's in house produced content you'll find guides to getting started playing D&D and how to best use D&D Beyond as you get started.

1 last question i really want a response to would be is it possible to play this purely on mobile? Since my computer isn't working and if so what apps will i need to run simultaneously etc?

Sure.
Play-by-Post is the obvious answer. Discord, FB Messenger and Zoom all work in the background (Roll20 and others probably do as well, but I know those do) so you could play through those and use the DDB by cycling apps. It won't be anywhere near as good or convenient, but if you need to do it, then it'll work. Hopefully you can get the computer fixed soon so it is less of an issue.

The tools needed to play will be determined by the group you try to join. DnD beyond can handle your character sheet.
if you are playing in person you can use your phone for interacting with your character sheet on DDB and you are good to go.
If your group is online you will need to use whatever tools your game is using to actually play (this may include a voice program like discord, or a virtual tabletop program/website like roll 20). I have no way to determine if everything would work together on a phone
It does depend on your phone's specs, but the D&D Beyond App is great for running your character sheet. You probably want to check it out in the app store to see if your phone has bandwidth for it.
So at that point you'd be all set if you were playing the game in person. If you're playing remotely, it depends on how the group plays. Some play by post here and elsewhere, some play over discord, some play over Zoom and Skype or GoogleMeet. I imagine it's possible to play on a simple conference call line. But these are things out of the purview of D&D Beyond and comes down to the further requirements, Beyond D&D Beyond so to speak, of whatever game you play with. This really comes down to talking to the DM or group.
Again, it really sounds like you're best off exploring and reading some content on how D&D is played to help you make these decisions.

Alright thank you all for the replies, if any of you know groups that can help me tutorial wise, feel free to have them message me on DDB app and let me know of the requirements etc.
I'm looking for a 1 shot right now but could play a campaign depending on schedule and all.
Would love to have links and sources that you can give me if possible, also if you know of anyone that can help tutorial wise or 1 offs for new players, please feel free to have them message me via DnDB app or PM me their info if needed.
The responses I've been seeing have been very helpful!
I was wondering if you can play DnD Beyond without the need for discord or Skype etc.
I only have a phone available for playing (my computer needs fixing) so I'm wondering if it's possible to play with just the phone in the meantime?
If anyone can help with any information that is easy to optimize my phone for DnD sessions please let me know, it would help a lot!
Thanks! -Kardox
D&D Beyond isn’t a game. It is a website, where you can purchase books about the game and discuss the game with others on the forums.
