I"d be careful not to over specialize this homebrew class of yours. If you fill it with class features focused on shutting down spell casters, it's going to struggle when fighting non magical enemies. All classes should have things they're good at doing, but you don't want to over specialize on the type of foe you'll be facing. It's part of why PHB rangers can suffer a bit if your chosen enemies/terrains don't come up frequently in the campaign. Except here it sounds like a baked in anti magic specialization.
Anti magic field is an 8th level spell for context as well, I hope you're not planning to give something similar out to this class at lower levels of play. I feel like an 'anti magic' theme would better fit a subclass where the scope of abilities is lesser. Like a fighter or rogue who specialize in fighting against magic, but still have their core class features as a baseline.

There's no such thing as a perfect, invincible defense. If such a thing were allowed in the game, it wouldn't be a very fun game.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
