I know everyone would put them as maybe fighters that focus on rapiers or rogues or whatever, but let's just look at it objectively. Inigo Montoya says he has 'done nothing but pursue fencing for 20 years."
Quote from the Kensei Monk: "Monks of the Way of the Kensei train relentlessly with their weapons, to the point that the weapon becomes like an extension of the body. Founded on a mastery of sword fighting, the tradition has expanded to include many different weapons."
Additionally, neither of them wear armor but but can't seem to land a hit on each other (maybe because they spend all of their bonus actions on patient defense? Which explains why they aren't throwing flurry of blows? Or maybe they are mechanically throwing unarmed attacks but missing, which gives them the Agile Parry? Kind of sherlock homes, I'll throw a kick, ah, no, that won't work.)
When Weasly finally does disarm Inigo, he knocks him unconscious with one strike probably by combining sharpen the blade and deft strike vs Inigo's d8 hit die. (automatic crit for essentially being helpless?)
Also, Weasly just used slow fall when the rope was cut on the cliffs of insanity until he could grab a ledge, which is why he didn't die there.
It's a bit of a stretch, I know, but I just rewatched the scene and I was like . . . "Oh, hey, wait a minute . . ."
