I'm a very RP based player when it comes to builds so I'm not the best when it comes to critiquing spells chosen etc. However one thing makes no sense.
Why are you going for +2 to Dex for your ASI? Having odd numbers gives no advantage. Only ever give ASIs to create even numbers. If you only have one current odd number that you're dying to round off, take a half feat that gives a bonus to that stat (so if you'd had 18 for Cha, and really wanted to round off Dex, take a half feat that gives a +1 to Dex). You're wasting that +1 otherwise.
As it stands, I'd either go for +2 to Str, or +1 to Dex and +1 to Cha, depending on whether you're going to lean Fighter or Sorceror. Personally, I'd go for Dex/Cha as it gets you more benefits overall, but again, depends on your build. If you want to go mostly Fighter, then the buff to Str might serve you better. Alternatively, if you're not bothered about Cha, take a Dex based half feat.
If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Thank you for pointing this out i completely read the requirement wrong, i thought i read str 13 and dex 13. My bad there. So yea ill prob take dex and charisma or a dex based feat.
Ah, I can see what happened now. Yeah, it's an 'or', not an 'and'. Which the Fighter is unique in that aspect - Monks, Paladins and Rangers are 'ands' and everyone else has a single requirement.
You could also take a Cha based half feat, but it depends on your build. What subclass are you going for?

the subclass im looking at is Battle Master and taking, Manoeuvring Attack, Precision Attack, and Sweeping Attack or Trip Attack.
fighting style im thinking either Dueling or Two-Weapon fighting
im thinking either:
Shadow Touched or telepathic, or even Duel Wielder or Shield Master.
he wants to be in the thick of it, so his skills will be based on close combat spells and any fighting skills that will either help him hit or create a way to escape.
i will see how the story progresses but this is how i see him growing.
thanks for your replies guys =D

hi guys just thought id post this idea as I've not seen anything around and thought it would be a nice discussion,
i have just started a new game where i am playing an asimar fallen sorcerer, we rolled for a ability scores and my stats are,
str 16, dex 11, con 12, int 8, wis 8, char 19.
we are currently lvl 3
spells are,
cantrips, booming blade, sword burst, thunderclap, true strike,
lvl 1, mage armour, shield, thunderwave,
lvl 2, shadow blade
bonus spells, light and darkness
at lvl 4 ill add two to dex making it 13, and at level 5 i am going to take a level in fighter,
what do you guys think of the idea of this.
he has his reasons which ill not get into just in case the group find this post lol.
Two to dex doesn’t make a lot of sense. Now, 1 to dex and 1 to cha, that makes some sense. Or 2 to con or wis.
