I'm going to join real soon a Campaign with a DM that will allow us to use homebrew stuff, and I see it as the chance to try this Race I saw months ago finding it extremly interesting and charming. The Mantids.
Given that I would go for the Oracle route, and no "Mutation" will be allowed, I thought that the most fitting class would be the Wizard of Divination. I play DnD just since one year given that I used just a Barbarian and a Warlock im basically new to the concept of spell levels and how to menage em (Warlock it's super easy ahah). Would you suggest some spell more than other to have a balanced character? I'd like to create this mystic, lawful good kinda-medium character, with psychic powers.
Or maybe.... a Sorcerer is better since it shares the wisdom?
Sorcerers use Charisma, not Wisdom. If you wanted to stick with a Wisdom caster, Clerics get a ton of divination/"fate" related spells, as do Druids.
I'd recommend looking at the Fate Domain unearthed Arcana for Cleric, or Circle of the Stars for Druid if either of those subclasses interest you. The nice part about those characters is that you don't need to 'pick' spells permanently, you can change your list every day.

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?

If you do decide to stay a Wizard keep in mind that nothing stops you from taking nondivination spells in addition to the divination spells.
