First i already read the discussion about Physical vs D&D Beyond and understand the D&D Beyond perspective.
I already read the "thinking about purchasing section" I was considering buying several books with a coupon I have and a Master Tier sub so only one person in the group needs to purchase the books. If you have a group the Master Tier seems to be worth it just because of that power if you are buying any books. You might consider adding some answers to these questions in the "should I buy and what should I buy section"
What about use offline. If I need to confirm access periodically is there some sort of message when I'm connected to do that so I won't get to the game and realize I haven't confirmed often enough.
What I'm concerned about are apps and offline access and some scenarios:
1. a. I'm using an Android Tablet and have good online access? What is the best way to use? Is there an Android App? Are their plans for an Android App? Should I rely just on the the web browser?
b. I'm using an Android Tablet and don't have good online access where I play? What is the best way to use? Is there an Android App? Are their plans for an Android App? Should I rely just on the web browser? Do I need to prep and make sure the files I need are downloaded prior to game time? how hard is that? Can it be done if i'm just using the web browser?
2. a. I'm using an IPad and have good online access? What is the best way to use? Is there an App? Are their plans for an App? Should I rely just on the web browser?

3. a. I'm using a laptop and have good online access? What is the best way to use? Is there a program? Are their plans for a program? Should I rely just on the web browser?

No need to confirm access periodically. Though if there are changes to the books then you potentially have to redownload them.
Android and iOS both have the same beta app available. No reason to separate the questions/answers.
1.a. There is an app that is in Beta. Currently it is just the compendium content (e-reader style for source books). If you just want to look through the books then that will work great, otherwise the website is where you will find the character sheet, spell listings, monster listings, etc... The features from the website will be making their way to the app at some point so they can be used offline as well. 1.b. Only the compendium from the app can be used fully offline (after downloading the sources). If you want access to the listings/filters from the website then the app will not have everything you want in the app alone.
3.a. No app for the laptop, just the website. 3.b. No offline capability of the website.
