Having to ask here as the marketplace description doesnt specifically state it.
If I buy the OoTA adventure on here are all the maps within the book high res and able to be downloaded? I often look for high res images so I can print the mapped areas out onto card stock for use as accurate dungeon tiles (sometimes after a little edditing in GIMP). Did this for LMoP using a fans home made stuff and it went down a treat with the players.
Also just in general if someone could further elaborate on what exactly you get and what can be done with what you get from the published adventures on here that would be great.
Yup, you get the high res maps, and you can download them. When you buy an adventure, you get all content from it. All adventure exclusive monsters, NPCs and items are then allowed to be accessed on your account. Everything applicable has tool tips and is crosslinked to other properties in the adventure. You get both player and DM versions of the maps. Everything inside of the adventure can be searched through via the global search bar, as well.
I actually have never run a campaign off of DDB. I won the Legendary Bundle through one of the streams. But as a DM, I can see how useful stuff would be with the format the adventures are in. I use DDB regularly for rules, character sheets, etc. as both player and DM.
