I believe that's the intention for all D&D Books going forward, that the official content will always be reflected here.
I actually don't think there's going to be much difference between the new printing of Tyranny of Dragons and what you find here. The D&D Beyond edition is the most current, and the Tyranny of Dragons is a reprint reflective of all prior updates nothing "new". There were some rumors it would be reworked and some even said it was going to be combined with Lost Mines of Philander, but I've seen nothing confirming those and a lot denying that's the case.

I didn't know this was a thing, very cool to see the combination. For some reason this makes me more interested in the campaign even if nothing is changed.

i'd also heard it's not much more than a glorified reprint...probably with all the errata.
last i heard about LMoP was that was being converted into it's own full campaign style adventure module. although i cant remember where i saw that, so i could just be crazy.

That is scheduled for later this year and I think it was meant to be the 'swansong' of 5E adventures. It was announced in the same announcement as OneD&D.
The books this year are supposed to the the Golden Vault (heist anthology adventures like Candlekeep), Bigby's Glory of the Giants (a book like Fizban's, but for the giants) and then the Phandeler campaign, which turns Lost Mines into a full campaign with 'cosmic horror' they hinted at.

My gut feeling towards it is that if there are any major changes, the current Tyranny of Dragons campaign on D&D Beyond will be updated to the newest edition, so if you own that, no need to rush out or buy it again. They've done that with other versions and it's also been done in other places like Roll20 before.
I could be wrong of course, but that feels the most probable course.
So basically another money grab to try and make the most profit they can before they go under. How stupid do they think people are.
I mean if it's a cash grab, it's super understated. Weirdly it doesn't have a project page on WotC's DnD site. IIRC the hype got started when some DnD journalists, like Nerd Immersion, heard about the products Amazon listing. To his credit, Nerd Immersion did another vid a few days alter saying it's sorta a nothing burger and basically a reprint.
I mean it's possible some of the monsters that may have appeared in Volo's or MToF get MMM stat block, but I think the adventure actually predates those books so it's all MM monsters so no stat block changes there. I suppose maybe some NPCs that weren't based on MM stats could get some changes?
But yeah, I don't see this as a cash grab, just a reprint that's taken a while to land.

They Refined a Few Things to make it Easier to run, I think its just Refining to Match Current 5e Rules.
