Wish there was one or two new spells or monsters or... something.. but I just bought the digital pre-order thanks to the headsup given on this forum, so I guess it's 'good enough' >.<
Could anyone share a picture of the pre-order bonuses?
they've just been announced, most likely not distributed to accounts yet. normally there's a lot more build up to a book release and the pre-order stuff would be well out the door by now. but everything is pretty last second. pre-orderers may not see them until launch.
First time I have ever done digital only purchase. Not a big deal since I have to localize it anyway and will have to add in existing plot line crap, but still feels weird…

That DDB bonus heist adventure seems cool, but the map is so poor for VTT use. How hard can it be to make good maps? Seriously WOTC: up your game.
Good for the awesome patreon artists who can cater for the VTT market I suppose.
Which map? And what's wrong with it?

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.

Also this is prob due to the fact that it's free. Paid maps will always end up being better quality because.. well... it's paid for.
And if they’d not put it out for free and solely included it with the purchase, it still would’ve been considered equally bad. Things being low quality because it’s free isn’t a valid excuse when it’s being produced by a multi million corporation.
They still had to professionally commission it, and considering that makes it official work then why excuse the quality just because they’re using it as basically free advertising for the release? Adverts should be high quality and make you want to part with your money.
If anything, it’ll likely actually lower people’s expectations and dissuade them from purchasing when they see output like this from people who are meant to be stewards of the game.
My understanding was that it's premium content - it's taken from the book.

Don't pre-order things. You are often disappointed, wait until you find out if a thing is worth your money first. And don't reward bad behavior.

"I don't give a rat's f***ing ass how big it is, it can still bleed and I'm not dealing with this s*** a minute longer!!!" -Brass Khorne, Dragonborn Rogue/Fighter Battlemaster.
"Welcome to the Weeping Willow! Ale, rooms, or both?...Yes, dogs are fine, why does everyone ask that?" -Lucky Shot, Tabaxi Eldritch Knight and Innkeeper
"Greetings, I'm Sir Dexter of House Barkton. What do I do? I'm a Good Boy." -Dexter, Awakened Dog Rogue and knight of the realm.
After Spelljammer It'll take some time before I ever preorder anything again. They just keep churning out half assed money grabbing material. Gonna wait for the reviews to start rolling in.

What are you talking about? Other than the grid lines being a bit thick, these are very nice maps.
