I've just started using D&D Beyond and am trialling it for a rebooted campaign I'm starting up again on Wednesday. I created the four characters within the campaign as my players don't like creating their own characters and then sent the link to all my players but one of them has ended up somehow assigning themselves two of the characters by mistake (I'm guessing theythought they'd take a look at the other character not realising they were assigning it to themselves or maybe clicked on it by mistake). Can I as the DM reverse this somehow, reassign to the correct player, or get the mistaken player to unassign it from themselves. Or do I have to 'Remove' and then create the character from scratch again?
The player who took the character by mistake needs to go to the campaign page. On the character on that page should be some text that says unassign. The player should click it and that puts the character as available for others to claim.

Cheers.

Don't quote me but I think they'll have to delete the character and then you'll have to make one from scratch again.

Thanks. I suspected that was the case but had no way of seeing that as the DM.
