I am curious about something - how does Lunar Embodiment Work?
Does the sorcerer have access to all three moon phases of spells each day but only can cast one 1st level spell in the moon phase they choose for free once...
Example: Level 1 - Shield, Ray of Sickness, Color Spray
The sorcerer can cast any of these three spells at level 1 at any time, but only 1 of them is cast for free (one time) when they choose that particular moon phase.
OR
When the sorcerer selects the moon phase, they ONLY get that moon phase's spells to cast. The 1st level of that moon phase is cast for free once per long rest.
Example: Level 1 - Shield, Ray of Sickness, Color Spray
The sorcerer chooses Full Moon and they can cast Shield once for free per long rest but could spend a spell slot to recast it if they want. But they DO NOT have access to Ray of Sickness or Colorspray for that day.
It feels unclear, but I'd say the former; you know all of the spells you're the appropriate level to cast, and you can cast them with spell slots as long as you have spell slots to use, but you can cast one without a spell slot based on the phase you selected when you finished your long rest.
