Hey so I've never played D&D before and wanted to get into the game but I don't even know where to start. I have read some of the manuals and started working on a character but there are so many questions so I want to see if I can find someone to kind of be my mentor in all this or even a group willing to take me under their wings!
The best place to start is a friendly local games store running Adventurers League. If you're in anything like a major centre you should be able to find something. Other people will also have suggestions.
