So Iv got an idea. Its this rogueish warrior, sort of a sleazy dude, who broke the heart of a witch, slept with her and dashed type of deal. and so she caste a spell to curse him with the face of a boar, so that he would look like the pig he was on the inside. He is this lazy, lustful, greedy and sort of untrustworthy figure, who's main goal is to find this witch and make her reverse the curse, he hides his face and tries to keep up his charms but more often than not ends up causing trouble.
But he has a arc, a cowardly greedy man who is a surprisingly talented swordsman slowly learns to depend on his friends and that he cant go through life being selfish and that there is value in being able to rely on eachother. room to inch by inch improve and become a proper member of the team and shift to a more moral place.
I do want help though pinning down the exact spell that would warp a mans face permentantly into that of a pig and cursng him with hunger and greed.
Honestly this is best handled by a custom spell, like the following:
Baser Form
9th level Transmutation
V, S, M (put what you want here, personally I'd go with something like a vial of blood from the target and from the animal in question, a vial of mucus from an aboleth, and a silver key worth at least 50GP, which the spell consumes)
Duration: Until dispelled
This spell curses the target. Their form begins to reflect that of an animal whose traits they exhibit (so scales might appear on someone who is deceptive, excess hair like a boar might appear on someone who is stubborn, a nose and ears might turn pig-like on a someone who is lustful and indolent, and so on). The more those traits are expressed, the more severe that transformation becomes, over time. If not addressed and continuously indulged in, eventually the transformation may turn the person entirely into the animal in question. Acts which shine in opposition to the traits in question and which demonstrate true growth help to reverse the effect, which otherwise can only be dispelled via a Wish spell, divine intervention, or by killing the target of the curse and then raising them with True Resurrection.
That's what I'd use, tweak it as you see fit, enjoy and good luck!

Maybe true polymorph?
