Adding the cost of just purchasing the 4 individual books is $91.46.
Is there a reason that buying the bundle costs more than purchasing all 4 books. Is there some benefit to the bundle that I'm missing? Note: I do not currently own any of the books.
A lot of the books are currently on sale (upto 40% off). Usually there is a significant saving, but for some reason the bundle hasn't updated to reflect the lower aggregate price of the individual items.
With the larger bundles there is a discount on any future books that would be in that bundle. For example, if you buy the Sourcebook Bundle, the any future sourcebooks that are released get a 10% discount for you.
That isn't the case for the Player's Bundle, but it just seems to not have updated to match the sale price of the included books. If you want them, buy them separately, there is no advantage to buying the Player's Bundle at a higher price.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Depending on exactly how they implement discounts for purchased content, it's possible that buying some of the individual books and then buying the bundle will still save. For example, the store shows me a list price of $6.00 for the bundle (because I already have all but SCAG), but since I bought them at full price, not sure what would happen if you bought them now.

Can someone please tell me what I'm missing.
The cost for a Player Bundle is 95.97
It contains these four books, which cost this amount individually.

Some of the books are on sale. The bundle isn't.
There's no advantage.

Thank you both for the clarifications.
