A while ago I found a pretzel M&M that was rather polyhedral, like a D20. I lost the pictures that I took of the M&M and have since ate it, but my players and I had fun messing around with what we called "The DM&M." It would be very cool if wizards of the coast teamed up with M&Ms to make this an official product, and I would definitely buy it. This was the only place I could think of to post a suggestion, and if anyone knows if there is a magical suggestion box somewhere that I missed, please tell me.
M&Ms are shaped on massive (read: expensive) rollers which are designed to produce an optimal shape for their candy coating process. Retooling that system to make a different novelty shape with relatively limited appeal is unlikely to be economically feasible - and that is before you take into account the likely uneven application of coating resulting in a decrease in quality.
While it certainly would be fun to have some d20 candies, I do not foresee this particular idea coming to fruition.
If you google "candy dice" or "edible dice" there are a bunch of small-batch products out there already, but yeah, something on the scale of M&Ms is highly unlikely
