I just purchased three books from the marketplace, and thought it was odd that there was no shipping info (apart from me having to give my residential address as well as the billing address) so I did a quick google search to see how long it normally took for them to ship the books.... And found out that what I had actually purchased were digital books, and there is no refund, I've looked around on the storepage, and can't find anything that states it's Digital only... Am I missing something? Or is this site's marketplace bullcrap?
So I just played with the market place and loaded three books into my cart. For each individual item I was prompted to the option to buy a digital and physical bundle or buy a physical book from a local game store, these were clearly options different from what I was purchasing. Ignoring those and going right to my cart I there is text under my order total with the following language highlighted in a sort of reddish "warning color":
All purchases are for digital products for use on dndbeyond.com. You will NOT receive physical item(s).
Minimum cart total of $1.99 regardless of the coupons or previously purchased content credits that are applied.
All transactions are in U.S. Dollars (USD)
So yeah, you missed something.

I am genuinely concerned that someone who joined this website years prior to the WoTC takeover seemingly had zero idea that this service is primarily digitally focused and managed to not only avoid the items’ description mentioning the digital content, the additional upsell bundles that showed the physicals at a higher price, the red warning text at checkout and after making the purchases still couldn’t find those very same mentions despite specifically looking for them.
It’s like all they saw was the prices and didn’t check anything else and is wanting to blame anyone but themselves.
