The only way to get them for free on DDB is to use the homebrew feature to recreate the various class options. This is explicitly allowed, so long as you do not publish your work. Otherwise, you either have to rebuy them here or, for future purchases, buy a bundle at a small discount (compared to buying separately).
However, you can buy individual options for $1.99 each, in batches (Eg all subclasses in a given book) for a higher price but lower than buying them individually, or the whole book. Even at $1.99 per option, it's more time efficient to work a minimum wage job (in the US, elsewhere YMMV) and pay for it than to homebrew - it takes longer to homebrew it than to earn $1.99 that way. Still...if you don't have a way of earning more money or have the extra money floating around...or just out of principle...you can homebrew it for free.
You can be pretty certain that your books that you've already bought will never be redeemable here, it'd be too hard to verify. It's possible (not likely, but possible) that WotC will change policy and award future physical purchases with copies on DDB as well, but past purchases would be out of the question.

The only thing I found for this was 4 years old so I'm asking in case something has changed.
I have a number of books and am thinking about getting D&DB. Am I SoL or can I get these books digitally without paying for them a second time?

Thanks a lot for the info, I didn't expect the homebrew thing to be allowed. That's a big help for me!
