I'm playing a Dragonborn dex build fighter and we're now level 4 and I can't decide between taking Fighting Initiate/ Interception or Sentinel. They're both good, I'm just worried that as we get to higher levels blocking 1d10 damage won't amount to that much.
Sentinel is definitely better, but it depends on the weapon you have. Honestly since you're dex based, you may want to take slasher/mobile/defensive dualist/sharpshooter maybe.

Fighting Initiate is a very weak feat, Sentinel is significantly better.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Out of those two, sentinel is the better feat.
Personally, I always take tough as a first feat just for the sweet sweet HP boost.
