I just noticed that when searching for a creature stat block, the different ability scores have different colors. Do the color mean anything?
That doesn't look like a statblock format that I've seen on DDB...where is it from?
Want to play D&D? Try the following resources first (each section withing vertical bars is a clickable link to find the resource).
|The free Basic Rules.|
|Some free short adventures| and |some more here too.| |Here is a series of encounters, some of which link together form a mini-adventure|.
You've played a few games and now want to buy materials? |Here's my guide on what to buy next|.
It's what pops up when you search a monsters name in the search bar, before you click on the main page.
I'd never noticed that before, interesting.
I looked at a couple monsters, and they all seem to follow the same pattern, red is str, black is dex, etc. But it doesn't really mean anything in terms of game mechanics.
Probably just a way of differentiating between ability scores. A minor thing a programmer put in when setting up the site that just got left there.
