Normally book options purchased on D&D Beyond immediately become available to you when making characters unless access is restricted somehow. Is your character part of a campaign that allows access to Xanathar's Guide to Everything ?
Or it's a build from your collection not part of any campaign?
I have the same problem. I bought two small extensions Warlock of the Archfey and Warlock of the Great Old One, assuming I would be able to select an other option than the Fiend patron when building a Warlock. However, when I try to build a character, it only gives me the option as Fiend. I am logged in, the order history shows that I have purchased the extensions in the marketplace. Besides these two small extensions, I have not bought any of the other base materials or books. I would assume, given that you can buy extensions individually, one would not need to buy the PHB (for example) in its entirety to gain access to these patrons when building a character (with the spells associated to each patron). What am I missing?
Most common issue is entitlements out of sync, go to "order history" and over your order history should be a statement that your entitlements are in sync. If not, it should provide a button to sync your entitlements. If you browse there and find the entitlements sync, go back and try your character build, that browsing to marketplace may have been enough to nudge your account to sync entitlements.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Thank you for responding. According to the order history, the entitlements are in sync, yet I do not have the option to choose either of the two warlock extensions in the character builder. I have restarted the browser, logged off and on, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Same goes for the app on my phone. Could it be that these extensions alone are not enough, and that the associated spells with these Patrons are not included in the extension and therefore do not show in the character builder?
I think I have realised my error. To select the Archfey as a Patron option, instead of buying the 'Warlock of the Archfey' (from Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse) extension (which I believe is a monster/character card), I should have bought the 'Archfey' (as it appears in the Player's Handbook). Same goes for the Great Old One patron, instead of buying 'Warlock of the Great Old One' extension, the one I would need is the 'The Great Old One' from the PHB.
This is confusing to the say the least, if not a little misleading, but I believe this should fix it.
To be fair, they're under two different sub groups (Monsters and Subclasses), although I can see why you might have misunderstood.
I'm glad it's sorted.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Having the same problem, I've purchased XGtE, TCoE, DMG, Phb, Explorers Guide to Wildmount and Ravenica but I cannot choose the Celestial for my Patron, nor can I make an Echo Knight and the Loxodon Race isn't available. If I use an old character that already has these traits and just respec them then I can but a completely new character none of the choices are available.
Two things to note here. First, there are two versions of the PHB and two versions of all of the classes (2014 and 2024). Which version of the PHB do you have?
If you only have the 2014 version of the PHB, and you select the 2024 Warlock class, you won't be able to use the Celestial subclass (because that's part of the 2024 PHB). You'll need to remove the 2024 Warlock class and replace it with the 2014 Warlock class; then you can use the older version of the Celestial subclass from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. You will need to enable both "2014 Core Rules" and "Expanded Rules" options on the Home tab of the character builder.
As for Echo Knight, that's a third-party subclass, so you need to enable "2014 Core Rules" and "Critical Role" options on the Home tab, and again make sure you select the 2014 Fighter class, as the third-party subclasses have not been made available for 2024 classes.
The Loxodon species option is from Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica, which is also considered "Expanded Rules", so make sure that option is checked on the Home tab.
I only have 2014 version of PHB, so I'm unsure if I can even select 2024 Warlock class. The Celestial is in XGtE which also contains the Hexblade (which I can choose). Now I see my mistake I didn't scroll down far enough to see the 2014. Thank you for the help!!
The tricky thing, for future reference, is that anyone can select either version of most classes (except Artificer) because they all appear in the 2014 Basic Rules and the 2024 Free Rules, which everyone with a DDB account has access to. These free products only have one subclass available for each class, though.
The automatic granting of the 2024 Free Rules to everyone has led to a lot of confusion and was probably a bad idea, but here we are.
I wouldn't say the granting access to it that's the problem, it's how it was handled. I'm hoping they'll go back and fix it one day...

What I think they should've done, just to clarify, is made it available to everyone as a thing you could claim for free (the way they used to do with other free giveaways) but not actually put it in a user's account until they actively claimed it. That way, everyone could get access to it if they needed to, but they'd have to choose to do that if they wanted to use the new stuff. It would've prevented the many, many issues where people couldn't find the subclass they were looking for because they'd chosen a 2024 class without realizing it.

Hello, any help on this will be appreciated:
The rulebook for celestial warlocks is Xanathar’s Rulebook for Everything. I have it downloaded.
In the character creation screen, there’s no option to choose a celestial being as a patron. The only option I get is “Fiend.”
Why is Fiend the only patron option despite me having the proper rulebook downloaded?
Am I missing something? And yes, I am logged into Dnd Beyond, so all my data is there https://19216801****/ https://192168ll.link/ .
Thank you in advance.

Can you share a link to your character so we can have a look?
