Wizard is easily my favorite to play - being the arcane "Swiss army knife" character is totally my thing. I will say though that I wish there were more wizard subclasses like bladesinger that made the subclass feel more distinct from the others.
From a roleplay perspective, however, warlock is my favorite to class. I find the warlock's pact and interactions with their patron really compelling.
Nice to see a fairly even spread. I’m kind of surprised the Artificer isn’t lower alongside the Monk. I’m so used to seeing those two as the least popular of the Classes.

I have never been into playing a monk.
In my current group someone is running a Tabaxi Monk and it is very effective.
Personaly after seeing the final panel from heck I am now thinking to run a monk in BG3

Currently playing a Stars Druid, Divine Soul Sorcerer, and life cleric. The druid is my favorite and the cleric my least favorite. I do like the sorcerer.
I haven't played all of them yet, but between Fighter, Barbarian and Ranger, the latter is definitely my favorite. Being able to cast spells means more versatility and damage potential, and it also means you're doing more strategy than just "Oh look, that skeleton is the most damaged enemy, better run up to it and slap it a bunch." Admittedly, I haven't played any of the more complicated martial subclasses, such as Battle Master, so take what I say here with a grain of salt.
Ranger overall encourages a pretty aggressive fighting style, which I find compelling. Dexterity-based classes tend to focus on avoidance and aggression like that. You basically get AC on the level of Strength-based classes, but way better initiative, and I think better damage output too. Not to mention Dexterity is, at least in my experience, the most common ability score for saving throws, and Strength is the least.
Strength classes, on the other hand, encourage sucking down damage more. Bigger hit dice overall means more hit points, and it's no coincidence that grappling relies exclusively on Strength(Athletics) on the aggressor's part. Or well, it might be a coincidence, but either way it works towards the same purpose.
I'm really interested in trying out Monk soon, it sounds like tons of fun. Or maybe I should try out one of the pure spellcasters. Probably should pick Wizard if I'm gonna do that. I haven't decided yet, but I'm still in the middle of a campaign right now so it's not really something to worry about.
For me it is Ranger. I have Drakewarden Ranger and love it. So many options on how to play with the drake. I am now level 8, so I have flying drake. I can summon beast and have another "helper" to control the battlefield. I just like all the options. Great support if I want to be. Pretty good attacker as well. Unfortunately, most of quests seem to be in dungeons, so a little limited on using some of the ranger abilities.
I consider him a combination of Legolas and Aragorn.
I play paladins the best. In fact, I have such a thing for the class that I tend to be very critical of how others play paladins (this is not something I am proud of). I find that playing a paladin can be very taxing for someone who does not want the restrictions of a moral code. People who like to play paladins don't see the restrictions of a moral code as a negative thing, instead they see the "restrictions" (if they see that way at all) as a strength.
My second favorite is wizard, mostly because of how much power they can accumulate with some intelligence and cunning.

Sorcerer and Fighter.
All of these responses have been really interesting! Thank you to everyone who voted and/or replied.
Armorer Artificer for me.
Very flexible, good utility, and can create cool magic items in downtime for the partymembers.

I don't have one.
I loved playing my TWF ranger. Then that went away.
Loved running a battle cleric with a group of all battle clerics Good stuff.
Good old days a wizard and a few dogs
The best time was a solo paladin that could tank anything, last man standing. (last Dwarf standing :)~
Yea that's a tough one for sure

Food, Scifi/fantasy, anime, DND 5E and OSR geek.
I picked artificer but I haven't really played any one class more than once. My second favorite would likely be arcane trickster rogue.
Classes I have played - artificer, barbarian, cleric, fighter, monk, paladin, rogue, wizard, warlock. They all have some fun aspects.
Current Characters I am playing: Dr Konstantin van Wulf | Taegen Willowrun | Mad Magnar

I'm honestly pretty surprised by the fanbase for rangers, I've always seen them to be more of a niche class.
