im creating a new character (high elf druid) and I dont know what background should i choose. I watched some videos and they said i should choose hermit. since its payed and I cant afford it i need to choose one of the free ones (acolyte, criminal/spy, folk hero, haunted one, noble, sage, soldier) and I dont know which one is the best https://vlc****/
Generally speaking, I would say the best background is the one which fits your character’s backstory. Backgrounds are a way to express where your character came from or, if you do not know that answer, a way to help come up with where your character is from.
That is not really something folks on the internet can answer, at least not with the information provided in your post.
From a pure optimisation standpoint, you should look at skill proficiencies and see what works best for your playstyle. I expect that might be Folk Hero - Folk Hero provides two Wisdom, nature-themed proficiencies, which work well with Druid (if you already chose either Survival or Animal Handling elsewhere, you could retrain those skills in the other place to other useful skills). Flavour wise, this could be a High Elf who left their high society and became a bit of a folk legend as “that usually pretty aloof species is out there living in the woods helping our lost travellers” or some such.
But I would not overthink this—each of the options could work in some way for a High Elf Druid. Just pick which one you like and use that.
Of, if you like none of them, ask your DM if you can build a custom background using the custom background options.
The background options are super helpful if you need to create a character backstory in a hurry, but there's nothing wrong in customising them to your whim. Have a proper think about where your character was born, the village or town they grew up in, what their family is like, their schooliing and training, and the kinds of things they like to do.

I just wanna chime in and say that the custom background rule isn't a variant rule that you need DM permission to use. It's a default rule! The written backgrounds are called SAMPLE backgrounds by the text. You are explicitly allowed to make your own.
It’s especially both useful and legit if someone owns a physical book but not the virtual one. Either way, 100% agree with homebrew, the limits are easily defined on what to include. You might even bring up the idea of a Background Feat / Bonus 1st level feat, as that is going from a very popular house rule to an official rule soon enough. Ask people here if you need help with creating a homebrew background on the site. It’s honestly surprisingly easy but we all know the first time is the hardest.

Acolyte for more of cult/religious themed Druid.
Sage for a more nature themed “Wizard” Druid.

Talk to your DM.
