Does anyone know when the Shattered Obelisk digital copy is gonna be available to view for people who pre-ordered the Physical & Digital bundle? It's the 5th already where I'm at and was curious.
The current TARGET for release is 7am PT / 9am CT / 10am ET / 3pm BST (UK)
In your local time that should be (if all things go well) whatever is displayed here
Please note that delays can happen due to unforseen circumstances. For example, the AWS cluster D&D Beyond uses can be slower than usual due to non-DDB load
So will it just appear in our sources or is there more to it than that and I'm missing it. I preordered the bundle. Redeemed the key. But not seeing how or where to access.
If you preordered the Physical/Digital Bundle, you should have received a redemption key via your email. Input that and it should pop up in your sources. Mine just did! :)
I understand that; in the past digital preorders included early access. =)
Also, it was not made very clear it was physical bundle only special feature as several DMs online are asking the same questions. Seems to be gated in a backwards way. In fact, you have to leave DnDBeyond and go to the Physical Bundle page on D&D to see any information on the early access date. I buy my books here, and I don't need physical books at all and don't randomly browse the D&D market on the host D&D site.
Since I was used to getting early access on the digital books I pre-ordered on the Beyond marketplace; I assumed the same would apply. There was little to no notice on the Beyond Marketplace that I have found. Maybe I didn't comb the fine print but just seems silly to allow early access to those who have physical and digital pre-order before book ships, but not digital pre-order only... which has nothing to do with the book shipping and the buyer does not want the physical book.
Pay early to access digital content before it goes to print and ships. This was how it worked before, right? I don't buy Physical Bundles so maybe I am just out of the loop since they started doing that.

As far as I'm aware, this has never been the case. It's certainly not the standard. Early access was introduced at a digital/physical bundle pre-order bonus
Then I have awoken on a new timeline, I could have sworn I accessed Rad Citadel, Keys, etc before print access. If so, I will seek out my correct timeline at once! ;)
The digital pre order allows you to access the material on the release date for a slightly reduced price. Meaning, you don't wait for the book to ship to your home or shop.

So the Digital Only pre-order did what exactly? No access for Digital Only =/

You have to preorder the Physical/Digital bundle to gain early access. You'll have to still wait until the 19th if you only preordered it digitally :/

Perhaps you're thinking of pre-order perks like dice, backgrounds, frames, etc.?
