I really don't know where to put this because I just arrived. I actually discovered D&D last week and I went crazy reading everything, but I'm confused about something.
I quote from BasicRules/Chapter 1: Step-By-Step Characters/3. Determine Ability Scores, second paragraph.
"The Ability Score Summary table provides a quick reference for what qualities are measured by each ability, what races increases which abilities, and what classes consider each ability particularly important."
Now my question is... where is the damn Ability score Summary table?
Keep scrolling from where you are. Go past the "Building Bruenor" block, past "Variant: Customizing Ability Scores", past "Ability Score Point Cost". There you are, "Ability Score Summary" presented as a table.
To be fair, I always find looking up material related to Ability Scores one of the more vexing searches in DDB, not so much in hard copy.
