Hey everyone! I'm a brand new DM and dndbeyond has been a saving grace for someone as bad as keeping physical notes as i am.
I found out about the "my encounters" tab and saw that it said "beta", but also found threads back from 2017 about bugs and features of "my encounters" . Has it been reworked? Re-released? Or just in beta for years? And will the feature stay? It'd be sad if i spent hours crafting awesome encounters and porting them from my (physical and digital) sourcebooks and to then have the feature dissapear as a scrapped beta feature.
Also, is there a way to port encounters from sourcebooks you own?
I seriously doubt that the encounter builder is going anywhere. It was a highly requested feature before it was added to the DDB toolset and I would guess it probably gets a lot of use (I use it constantly as a DM for running encounters). It has been in Beta for several years, despite no apparent further development. I can't comment as to why that might be the case, as I have no inside knowledge. I have run into issues with it a couple of times, but the vast majority of the time "it does what it says on the tin" as the saying goes.
