Can be fun to have one as a novelty, but they are too loud and make me worry about damaging the table so I don't use oversized dice in regular play.
i also wonder if they may be offset weight wise due to having 20 LARGE sides and unlike jumbo d6 which tend to be made for jumbo snakes and ladders etc a jumbo d20 seems to be a gift item in it's own

in a hole in the ground you notice a halfling
How big is the largest d20? World Record?
Do you need a ladder just to see the value rolled?
Can you even roll it by hand or do you need a wrecking ball?
How big is too big?
My group uses them for death saves. The player rolls on the floor with everyone gathered around. Adds to the fun.
I have a set of braille dice i got as a gift they are 3d printed and larger than normal, but i prefer digital rolls
I didn’t see what you did there.
So fun to just pull a giant D20 the size of a beachball out on players. The look on their faces:)
What if the "interesting reason" IS that it's a novelty paper weight? Asking for a friend...
