It'll be the usual wide ranging sale. Rulebooks will possibly be more heavily discounted to shift them before 1D&D comes - they were given a particular sale recently.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Was it 40% off of most digital books (the one's that hadn't been release extremely recently) last year? And was there any discount off of digital book bundles, I seem to remember "no", but still hopiing. And then It seems like the discount on subscriptions was only for new subscribers, not for people who already had a subscription, right? I got the subscription last Black Friday, and now it's going to be hard to go back to not having that.
Yeah, pretty sure it was 40% off (or thereabouts), no bundles. The subscription discounts (whenever that was) were available to anyone, but you had to be buying one - so if you subscribed a month prior, then you couldn't get the discount on that year's sub.
Whether they repeat this year or change it up is anyone's guess.

I would love to get an official update ahead of time for sales. I'm saving up for a good deal, but don't want to wait until I turn old and gray to spend my money.

I’m reasonably certain you won’t be so severely affected by the passage of one week.

What might we expect for Black Friday 2023 (based on previous years?)
Books?
Digital books?
Physical books?
Recently published book? (how far back)
Books with a non-sale price that is different than the usual amount for D&D books?
3rd party content books?
Further discounts on book bundles?
Digital bundles?
Physical + Digital. bundles?
Dndbeyond Subscriptions? (exclustions?)
Dice?
Maps?
Individual Purchase Items from books?
Other stuff?
Do you think that the fact that there will be a 2024 version coming out, will affect the deals for Black Friday &/or Christmas deals?
Given the 2024 books are a year out....
nope. no effect.
