The new one is an adventure, not a cookbook. Well, it contains one recipe, but it's a recipe that's in the cookbook anyways.

Look at what you've done. You spoiled it. You have nobody to blame but yourself. Go sit and think about your actions.
Don't be mean. Rudeness is a vicious cycle, and it has to stop somewhere. Exceptions for things that are funny. Go to the current Competition of the Finest 'Brews! It's a cool place where cool people make cool things.

While I have not yet purchased the second book, my understanding from reviews is that it is a completely new book with new recipes. Not one of the reviews I saw mentioned repeats, despite several mentioning they owned the first one—and repeats are the kind of thing that reviewers tend to complain about.
The second book is all new recipes from the first one.
One of the recipes from the new (second) one is used as a key aspect of the new adventure that has been released.
I have some thoughts regarding a few of the recipes in the new book, but I suspect my doing a thread of what amounts to cooking reviews would go over poorly with the administrators of the site, lol.

Ah, my mistake. I didn't expect there to be three Heroes' Feast books.

I confess that I am more than a little cranky that I have to buy the print books offsite, because I would love to have the cookbooks available in my app. Easier to wipe spills off a tablet than a paper book.
I settled for a Kindle version of both -- which means I would totally have bought it on DDB...
Some additional points...
Flavors of the Multiverse (2) has recipes inspired by The Yawning Portal, Solamnia, Ravenloft, Sigil, and the FeyWild (among others). 217 pages, better art, imo.
Heroes Feast (1) has Human Cuisine, Elven Cuisine, Dwarven Cuisine, Halfling Cuisine, Uncommon Cuisine (including Abyssal Chicken kebabs), and then Elixirs and Ales. 227 pages, some good art.

It would go over well with me! You could put it in the Adohand's Kitchen subforum, ha!

I may just do that on the weekend, lol.
Depends on how annoying working on the character book is.

What is the difference between the two Heroes Feast books? Do they contain the same recipes or does the new one contain all new recipes?
