Are there any estimations on when we will get our hands on the bonuses for the two Waterdeep adventures? I feel safe to assume it'll be after the character sheet rework (no point incorporating them into an outdated system), but are we talking relatively soon or more along the lines of 1 month before the campaigns launch?
Reading through the forums I see similar content-drops were offered for past pre-orders, so if anyone knows from when they pre-ordered MToF or XGtE that could stand to answer the currently ambiguous statement on the pre-orders.
The pre-order incentives go live on the material's go-live date. So for W:DH, September 7th, I believe. That's when the portraits, frames, etc. become available. At least that is how it was on the last two pre-orders for me.
I was about to say that we don't get those things for adventures, only rules supplements. Luckily for my unblemished reputation for accuracy and integrity, I checked before I posted and we will, indeed, get bennies.
Cool.

Not sure why they're saying in the 2 books descriptions pre-ordering will grant 'early access' to the portraits. Maybe they plan on offering the portraits to people not pre-ordering at a later date?
Well it's not a problem, more inquisitiveness that makes me want to know :P Guess I'll just wait and see.
I hadn't noticed that it said "early access." I don't know whether folks who didn't pre-order MTOF still got the frames and backdrops and if so, at what point.

I wasn't using D&D Beyond when XGtE was released, but even though I have the book now I don't have the pre-order bonuses. They might come later, but if someone is holding off because of the "early access" wording, I'd point out that they don't seem likely to be made available anytime too quickly after the books launch.

There might be a purchase option later?

I think I will ask in the next dev update thread.
