I always think about a sorcerer/rouge sneak attack every round when in inate sorcery adv on all sorcerer spells so sneak attack extra xd6 on to all of you spells like fireball.
It would be interesting if any of that actually worked that way, but Sneak Attack doesn't apply to spell attacks, and Fireball isn't an attack at all.
About the only way to make it work would be with Green Flame Blade or Booming Blade. These involve a melee weapon attack made as part of a spell, so should satisfy both features.
Now is it worth the dip? You can do this for two combats per day for up to 10 round (basically a full combat), but it requires concentration, and you have to be in melee range for it to work. I guess you could pair this with a Swashbuckler's Fancy Footwork or taking the Mobile Feat, but that seems like a lot of investment when there are lots of different ways to get advantage to proc sneak attack. And it takes a BA to start, so the first round you wouldn't be able to use any Cunning Actions.
I don't think anything about that requires Concentration, but I would agree it does not seem worthwhile.

I personally like a battlemage combo of Fighter/Sorcerer, at lvl 4 of fighter you get practically 3 attacks per turn and Sorcerer lvl 6 gets draconic ancestry.

But this keeps you in melee range and has the potentially to completely waste your Action and Reaction. Since you will need a minimum 13 Dex and 13 Cha, your Con would not be as high as it would on a single class, hampering your concentration saves.
You also couldn't do this on the turn you activate Innate Sorcery, and it would completely prevent any of your Cunning Actions.
I haven't tried it in proper D&D, but I did try it in Baldur's Gate III because there's an achievement for building a character up to level 12 (the max in that game) in that manner. It leaves you with a character who can do absolutely anything really badly.
Well even if I hate posting on old threads, this question had me look to see if I had a favorite, or a crazy multiclass. Sadly as a forever DM I have few PCs I've actually played, and all of them were mono class.
However, one of the few characters I had considered a crazy multiclass was ... I'll describe the build.
Species Hexblood
+Str, +Con, +Dex, +Chr, dump int & wis.
1st 3 levels Arch Fey Warlock, Pack of the Chain, use Great Axe. (Find familar, and a few ritual and social spells, EB for ranged when not raging)
3~20 Wild Magic Barbarian.
A muscle Witch who casts Axe. Bonus points for Broom of Flying.
