You don't need a Sub for it to work. Unfortunately, I'm not savvy enough with DDB to help you troubleshoot beyond suggest everyone close their browsers and start again. Hopefully someone else on the board can help more - or you can try customer support or the bug section of the forum.

What is the trick to allow players to Launch Game from their player character sheets? My players keep geting the "Something Went Wrong" error.
I have the Master level subscription.
The players do not have a package subscription but they have character accounts.
Do the players need to pay for a subscription to join my campaigns and launch the game? I thought this was free for players to join my champaigns?
Please help ASAP!
What do you mean by "Launch the Game"? There is no launch to something else from the character sheet, whether you are in a campaign or from a solo player sheet. Where are you going beyond this that you think the players should get to? Are you using one of the virtual tabletops (as none are affiliated with dndbeyond)? Are you using Maps (part of dndbeyond)?

It's the 'play/right-pointing triangle' button between the campaign button and the game log on the character sheet. It says 'launch game' on hover (or if you're looking at the campaign in the fly-out, it says the same thing without the hover). I assume it works with Maps somehow, but I've never used it myself so I'm not sure.
Thank you for the response but I'm looking for feed back from one of the DDB game developers on this one. Pocket mouse is correct, thanks.
The link works for character sheets from my characters, when I run them as NPC's, but it gives an error to other players I invited to join my champaign. They can't see the maps.
Does this "Launch Game" button work for anyone else, who joined a champaign from an invite from the DM?
Hello, good news update, The problem for my players was that they were using Safari browser on their MAC and I'm using Google on my PC. Once they switched to Google Chrome the "Launch Game" button worked perfect. Note, your character must be selected on a champaign first.

Yeah, Safari gives one of my players a lot of problems when it comes to Maps and other things. Use a different browser.
Theyll probably add support for Safari when Maps isnt in Alpha.
