I am making a character that is a Emerald Dragonborn (FTD), Druid and Bard Multiclass. The backstory for my character is that he comes from a semi-nomadic civilization of dragonborn that lives on the backs of living creatures and his occupation is something akin to a seanchaí (An old irish storyteller/historian). My DM let me use Wisdom as my spellcasting modifier for my bard class, how could I make a good multiclass combo for these two classes that fits with my character.
Honestly, you don’t, even with the casting stat exception. Splitting between two full casters mostly just holds up your spell progress and class features. My first suggestion here is to drop the Bard aspect if you are only taking it for the musical associations; the entertainer background gives you instrument and performance profs, and you can even ask to trade out Acrobatics for History.
Do you have any particular configuration of features in mind, or idea of what role you want to play in the party?
If the point of being a bard is just that you keep the old stories, that doesn't actually require the bard class, it just requires proficiency (or ideally expertise) in history. However, you might also want to do it the opposite way: drop druid. If your goal isn't to be a shapeshifter, an awful lot of the druid spell list is already on the bard list, and magical secrets can fill out the gaps.
Thanks for the suggestion, I'll probably do it because my only reason for being bard is the entertainer aspect and this is a much easier way to get that flavour for my character.
My read would be Eloquence Bard 6/Dreams Druid 14... Probably start druid; levels 2-7 bard; the rest druid. That progression gets you the best combination of language choices and inspirational abilities for the least headache in terms of tracking.
