Yo! i wanted to pick everyone's brain about this. What do you think is the strongest or most useful uncommon item? if its strong bc it pairs well with a class or subclass id love to hear why. if you think its just the best one all around id love to hear why. also no 3rd party content (i love my 3rd party stuff but then this list would be endless)
my pick has to be Broom of Flying or Winged Boots mainly bc flying is overpowered tho id have to say the broom is prob the better option as long as you dont get robbed of it.
My nomination would be a Stone of Good Luck (Luckstone). A Luckstone is always useful - in combat or out of combat, inside a building or outside, it does not matter - it just makes you 5% better at a large chunk of the game, and does not really have the ability for the DM to retaliate against you (unless they change your item to the cursed version—but that is a different item).
Compare to your nominated flying items, which are strong, to be sure, but they only help you in situations where flying is actually useful. In a room with 10 foot or lower ceilings (which many buildings and almost all caves would have), it gives you nothing but the ability to avoid floor based traps (easily fixed for the DM by having some tripwires). And it is not like the DM does not have some options to even the playing field - other flying enemies and ranged attacks are easy counters to a flying target - and if anything can knock the character prone, suddenly that flying becomes a liability.
There are a lot of uncommon arcane items that are useful and very powerful. Many are so powerful that I doubt that a Dungeon Master would want a player to have one of them. A Arcane spell pool(or Spellcrux) would be one such item. Gravestone of Decay and Monster Tome are two more from the list that I have.

None of the items you listed are items in D&DBeyond.
OP did say no 3rd party items.
Also, my pick would have to be adamantine armor. sure it's effects are only active 5% of the time...but no taking crits? *chefs kiss*

I'd go with the Broom as well. There are really good reasons why every single pricing guide for items prices it like a rare or very rare item rather than an uncommon one.
Unless you apply a whole bunch of house rules to its use, it completely changes the dynamic of how a PC operates.
As far as I know Larloch has a spell Pool. Other wise I know of no spell pools. There are two time gates in the north part of Faerun. Perhaps these will count as Arcane Items. Unless Beyond or Wizards of the Coast has stated that these gates have been destroyed they still exist.

At least going off of D&DBeyond, and the official 5e books...doesn't exist as items, let alone uncommon. Larloch doesn't have a statblock (though likely still exists lore wise).
I’ll throw in a bag of holding, which in some campaigns can be all but necessary. And an immovable rod, in the hands of the right player, is endlessly useful.

Immovable rod also gets my vote

Active characters:
Carric Aquissar, elven wannabe artist in his deconstructionist period (Archfey warlock) Lan Kidogo, mapach archaeologist and treasure hunter (Knowledge cleric) Mardan Ferres, elven private investigator obsessed with that one unsolved murder (Assassin rogue) Xhekhetiel, halfling survivor of a Betrayer Gods cult (Runechild sorcerer/fighter)
Arguably, the most reliable and least situational is a trusty something +1. I'd propably say a Deck of Illusions? I mean, it's less so in the hands of someone who can cast illusions, but for a rogue or similar, it's just an endless* fountain of fun.
* Not actually endless.

Blanket disclaimer: I only ever state opinion. But I can sound terribly dogmatic - so if you feel I'm trying to tell you what to think, I'm really not, I swear. I'm telling you what I think, that's all.

No third Party? I missed that. Still is not a spell pool a standard D and d item?

Not according to the search in dndbeyond (i own all the books)
