I'm gonna bump this, I'm extremely interested to know the answer too, if anyone has any kind of information on this or what they've done in the past in that regard, to maybe give us an idea of what might happen.
The physical book wasn't finalized until sometime in spring, I believe, and consistent translation of complex game rules is going to make most other forms of translation seem like a walk in the park.
As for online support, I suspect D&D Beyond wasn't built with translation in mind, which makes retrofitting it a humungous pain, requiring rewrites to almost everything.

Does anyone know if WotC is going to release a translated version of the core books?
I'm planning on getting them, but so far I think there's no option for pre-order in another language, which kinda sucks

This was the last notice about supported languages in D&D products: Change to Supported Languages in D&D Product
I guess the new core rulebooks will be translated sooner or later into French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.
I hope this will happen in dnd beyond, and not just in paper books.
It would be great... Also for the current books/modules :(
Indeed! Any news about?
how they ship this big product without translation, it's not even that hard and they had time to do it, it's sad really
A low quality translation is easy, a good one is not, but I suspect the bigger obstacle is layout.
