I've reached Level 4 in my Dragon of Icespire Peak campaign and I'm not sure if I should take a feat or ability score increase. My Dex is +3 (+7 Stealth) , my wisdom is +3 (perception is +5), my investigation is +0.
We have a Fighter, a Cleric, a Barbarian and a Sorcerer. The Cleric and Sorcerer are new to RPGs.
A feat could be fun but would that be too limiting at this point?

What class are you playing? Are any of your ability scores odd numbers that might benefit from a single point ASI as part of a “half feat”?
Generally speaking, ASI is more powerful than a Feat...but whether that matters or not depends on your class/subclass and, more importantly, how your DM plays. What feat you want also matters - taking Chef will be somewhat less helpful than Sharpshooter if you're an archer type.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Judging by your Stealth bonus, i will assume you're an Halfling Rogue, in which case i would definitely recommend ASI to increase your Dexterity as so many things hinge on that, initiative, attack & damage roll, saving throw, stealth skills, thieves' tools use etc...
Ideally you have 17 DEX & WIS and increase each by 1 but if your DEX is 16 i'd give it +2.
Go all in on charisma imo. It fuels all your fun stuff, making your spells land more often, wasting less precious spell 'slots', makes all your fun charisma shenanigans work more often... https://omegle****/https://vshare****/
You shouldn't be that invocation starved unless mellee lock, I'd rather have my core stuff all working and landing a lot more often than get another invocation, particuarly if planning for the long term when you'll have enough invocations.

Is tasha's an option, swapping the +2 and +1?
