If a bunch of us work together we can quickly publish all the 2014 spells.
1. Choose an alphabetical range.
2. Announce your choice here.
3. Create and publish a copy of each 2014 spell of your selection using the format "Spell Name 2014-99"
3.24 Delete all fluff and adjust wording as needed to get it unique enough to publish.
4. Review spells published by others for errors.
4.24 Publish any corrected spells with the name format "Spell Name 2014-XX" (Go in descending order so the most recent (corrected) version is at the top.
A WotC employee just manually rejected my home brew Acid Arrow after I had adjusted it enough to get past the automated system. How are we supposed to home brew the spells if WotC employees can deny their creation?
You're not supposed to publish them, just keep them for personal use.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
The magnitude of insanity required to demand that each and every DM completely re-invent the wheel for all changed 2014 content ON THEIR OWN (Some of which cannot be re-invented), is neigh unfathomable.
Telling to community at large to solve a problem they made, then preventing them from working together to solve said problem and forcing them to each do it individually again and again and again is beyond ridiculous.
A moderated of DND Beyond literally told us to create home brew copies of all the spells and magical items. How long until we need to create copies of all the monsters?
I could have created homebrew versions of all the rules that I own as physical books instead of buying digital copies here for use on VTTs and tablets. Instead I bought a second copy to save time. Allowing users to publish this content would not only save vast amounts of time for us as players, but would also fit in with their narrative that we can still play with the 2014 rules if we want.
Plus if every DM creates a home brew of every spell, it will take up way more storage space. By having the community create a solution we reduce the amount of money WotC has to spend storing backups of all of our individually unique home brewed spells and magic items.

Nobody accused those in charge of D&D Beyond of being intelligent. The people calling the shots are completely out of touch with the base and with reality.
I can understand WOTC not wanting copyrighted spells available via homebrew, but I do find it VERY annoying that it will be such a large amount of work to put the legacy spells into homebrew so my ongoing campaigns don't suddenly have spells doing different things.
I just wish the 2014PHB spells were retained as legacy.
Is anyone aware of where I can find a list of all the spells in the 2024 PHB, ideally with a flag whether they are changed from the previous version. I can't even just make copies of the 2014PHB spells because I know the 2024 PHB contains some spells from other books but (eg Tasha's sumoning spells) but I don't know how many of those will suddenly do something different when the 2024 PHB is put into DNDBeyond character sheets.

I'm not yet sure exactly what spells change functionally, I know there's been some lists going around. But as for spells being reprinted that aren't from the PHB, here's the list: Dragon's Breath Ice Knife Mind Sliver Mind Spike Steel Wind Strike Summon Aberration Summon Beast Summon Celestial Summon Construct Summon Dragon (formerly Summon Draconic Spirit) Summon Elemental Summon Fey Summon Fiend Summon Undead Synaptic Static Thunderclap Toll the Dead Vitriolic Sphere Word of Radiance
"PLAYERS WHO ONLY HAVE ACCESS TO THE 2014 PLAYER'S HANDBOOK WILL MAINTAIN THEIR CHARACTER OPTIONS, SPELLS, AND MAGICAL ITEMS IN THEIR CHARACTER SHEETS. PLAYERS WITH ACCESS TO THE 2024 AND 2014 DIGITAL PLAYER'S HANDBOOKS CAN SELECT FROM BOTH SOURCES WHEN CREATING NEW CHARACTERS. PLAYERS WILL NOT NEED TO RELY ON HOMEBREW TO USE THEIR 2014 PLAYER OPTIONS, INCLUDING SPELLS AND MAGIC ITEMS, AS RECOMMENDED IN PREVIOUS CHANGELOGS."

I'll Start by creating Acid Arrow
I just published Acid Arrow 2014-99 Please check the spell for errors and make adjustments as needed.

Dragon's Breath
Ice Knife
Mind Sliver
Mind Spike
Steel Wind Strike
Summon Aberration
Summon Beast
Summon Celestial
Summon Construct
Summon Dragon (formerly Summon Draconic Spirit)
Summon Elemental
Summon Fey
Summon Fiend
Summon Undead
Synaptic Static
Thunderclap
Toll the Dead
Vitriolic Sphere
Word of Radiance
Thank you. If the moderators change their stance about publishing home brew content before 2014 is deleted, that list will be a big help.
