I just wanted to express my disappointment with the changes to ritual casting both as a feat and with abilities like pact of the tome so that you can no longer collect ritual spells above 1st level.
It was my favourite part of 5e and now it looks like it no longer exists.
They should at the very least allow Legacy/Expanded Rules Eldritch Invocations so someone could take both Pact of the Tome and Book of Ancient Secrets. Right now there's zero mention of the old invocations or how they plan to include them.
Are they going to refund everyone who ever bought content that had Eldritch Invocations in it? While leaving a severe gap in Paper play Warlock and DNDbeyond's? For everyone's sake I hope this is a temporary issue.
If it doesn't appear on the 2024 book, you can use it as is. So you can use Book of Ancient Secrets if your DM allows, but it might need some tweaks and at that point it's more of a Homebrew

They stated they would not force players to make previous character options homebrew features, and you cannot make homebrew eldritch invocations. So they REALLY need to fix legacy and expanded content Eldritch Invocations ASAP.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks.
I feel your pain, mate :(, especially when one of my players has the Pact of the Tome feature.
The tome itself is actually an important element in the current campaign and the story we're sharing.
