I received an email from DDB stating that there was a difficulty with the payment for my pre-order. I was directed via the email to wizards of the coast customer service. Where can I find my order number on d&d beyond?
Inconveniences like this are becoming all too common

Your order number should be in the confirmation email that was sent to you at time of purchase. If you no longer have that email, it can be found by going to your Account page and clicking the Order History tab on the far right.

I was excited when I got a shipping notification and the tracking said it was on-time and would be here tomorrow (9/13)... now its changed to Tuesday (9/17) as of this morning but still listed as 'on time'. Frustrating as heck.
Its now changed to 9/19... How is this thing being shipped? Did the mule throw a shoe or something? Its coming from Illinois and I'm in Boston, so not like some podunk out-of-the-way area.

That sucks, it's unusual as a Brit for me to preorder something from an American company and get it before Americans. Even with previous WotC orders I've usually got it a couple of days after release
Will never preorder anything from WotC again. Why bother? 2 members of my party already have their copies, one has got the funky alt cover.
I preordered both digital, and physical, (that's a rip off, but another rant, another time) and still waiting, no notifications yet.
Those who spent the money to preorder should have been served first. And, should have got the alt cover as a matter of course instead of some useless digital dragon I'll never use.

The alt cover is a retailer incentive. The whole point of them is to encourage people to go to local game stores rather than buying from Amazon or a big box chain store. Or directly from WotC. If WotC also sold the alt cover would 100% defeat the purpose of having those.
Canada here - As of this morning 9/18 - I've yet to receive anything regarding this being shipped. Order status says "preparing order" for the 2024 PHB I've opened a ticket. Every one of my players purchased from LGS and now I feel like the idiot being left out by pre-ordering from the source with no info on when this product will ship. WotC really not making it easy.
I got mine in Canada today, had to pay an addition $14.57 in duty beyond the shipping and handling.
That's frustrating. I'd contact customer service about that. Duties and the like should have been prepaid, especially fulfilment was being handled by a different website.
An extra $15 pretty much negates the benefits of getting the bundle, when you compare the price to what you'd have paid ordering from Amazon.
Edit:
Nope, on the ordering page, at the bottom in the mass of disclaimer text it says International orders may experience longer shipping times and/or be subject to customs fees. Neither Wizards of the Coast, LLC nor Scalefast Inc. are responsible for such custom declaration fees.
Which is some weapon's grade BS. Why take you to a partner site if they're not going to have localized deliveries?!? What's the point in offering a bundle with a $20 discount on the digital book if you're just going to be charged $15 customs?!
Not only could I have apparently saved $5 if I had just ordered through Amazon (being sold for $10 off there) but I would have had my book on the 17th rather than... I dunno, since my copy apparently hasn't even freakin' shipped yet as there's no tracking number.
I had a terrible, terrible experience ordering through WotC with the Dragonlance book. But I decided to give them a second chance and that was a HUGE mistake. Never. Again.
Still haven't received any shipping notice whatsoever. Ticket was answered with an auto-generated answer, and no one is willing to help me at all. Also, I just saw that contrary to the promise that ordering the three bundle products from the Scalefast site is equivalent to ordering the big bundle from D&D Beyond, I haven't received any of the bonus content that was promised... I am seriously considering cancelling the order.
I have never felt as undervalued customer with any other RPG company.

I just got mine a few hours ago. Still just a label created, but at least it's in the system!

Won't do it again.

Got mine Wednesday.
Your profile says you're in Lethbridge.
Were you charged a duty?
My pre-order physical copy still says "Preparing to ship"...
oh well...
